Covid lockdown had us all seeking out ways to turn the unused corners of our homes into a quiet place to get some work done. This project sought to do exactly that. The clients wanted to create flexible yet sophisticated built-in joinery that didn’t scream “home office” but instead could be used for working, creating, display and storage. The balance of full-height and horizontal shelving meant that the desk didn’t dominate the space, which also operates as a rumpus room when there’s a good film on.
