Nikki Taylor Architecture provides an empathetic, considered and collaborative approach to designing, developing and delivering your new home or renovation.

Put simply, NTA seeks to work with enthusiastic people to create beautiful homes that are a joy to live in. For those looking to build a new house or renovate an old one, I understand how overwhelming, challenging and expensive the process can be. I also understand that with the right team it needn’t be - it can be fun, incredibly rewarding and worthwhile.

I offer architectural & interior services with an attention to detail that seeks to ensure my clients feel informed and in control of the process. I believe in designing from the inside out and that a functional and thoughtful layout is the cornerstone of a successful home. I am energised by my relationships with clients, consultants and builders and seek to create trusting, collaborative and professional connections with every project.

Projects

White Light, Clovelly

This renovation breathed new life into a dark and poorly planned single-storey house by adding a carefully designed second level.

South Coogee

Currently under construction, this renovation focuses on dramatically transforming an existing three-storey house without significantly increasing its size.

Crash Pad, Cunjurong Point

This loveable project seeks to create what any good holiday home needs - a capacious bunk room with adjoining play area for the kids (big & small).

Profile

Nikki Taylor
Director / Architect / Lead Designer

I am a Registered Architect (NSW Reg #11055) with over 12 years of experience dedicated to my passion: designing homes. From modest extensions to multi-million-dollar new builds, I’ve been fortunate to work on projects of all scales and complexities while working for talented architectural studios. These experiences have shaped the approach I bring to my own solo practice, which I established in 2022 - blending creativity with practical problem-solving to deliver homes that are both beautiful and functional.

I enjoy navigating the intricacies of planning controls, site restrictions, client briefs and budgets to uncover thoughtful solutions that seek to positively impact the way people live. It is the collaboration and management of a project that I am invigorated by, and I seek to bring an organised and methodical approach to everything I do. I love learning from others and building on past experiences to make the next project even better.
